City Academy Constitution

We the people involved with City Academy agree on the following statements:
Nosotros, el pueblo, involucrados con la Academia de la Ciudad estamos de acuerdo con las siguientes declaraciones:

We are focused on learning.
Nosotros estamos enfocados en aprendizaje.
We discuss problems openly and work on positive resolutions for all involved.
Nosotors discutimos problemas abiertamente y trabajamos en resoluciones positivas para todos involucrados.
We strive to do our best.
Nosotros nos esforzamos en haver lo mejor.
We respect people and their property.
Nosotros respetamos a la gente y su propiedad.
We respect our campus and our neighbors.
Nosotros respetamos nuestra escuela y nuestros vecinos.
We do not tolerate threats of violence.
Nosotros no toleramos amenazas de violencia.
We respect the diversity of all people.
Nosotros respetamos la diversidad de todas las personas.
We understand that a community cannot survive if divided.
Nosotros entendemos que una communidad no puede sobrevivir si esta dividad.
In light of these statements, we agree on the following rights:

The right to be safe from physical and emotional harm.
El derecho de estar sano y salvo de daño físico e emocional.
The right to give and receive respect without labeling.
El derecho de dar y recibir respeto.
The right to learn without interruption.
El derecho de aprender sin interrupcion.
The right to an appropriate setting to discuss conflicts.
El derecho de un lugar apropiado para discutir conflictos.
The right to be free from harassment.
El derecho de estar libre do hostigamiento.
We have read the City Academy Constitution.
Hemos leido la constitucion de la Academia de la Ciudad.
We understand and agree to uphold its statements and rights.
Entendemos y estamos de acuerdo a atenernas a estapalabras y a los derechos proclamados.
